​Our Story

 

We are the Harebrained-Parents, otherwise known as Crystal and Brad

 

Brad and I met in December of 2007 at our place of employment in Bowling Green, Kentucky. We began talking about our lives and realized we both had several children from a previous marriage and we were both from Indiana..he is from Franklin and I was born in Connersville and was raised in Bloomington from the age of 10 (how convenient that Franklin is about halfway between Connersville and Bloomington). I ended up in Kentucky after my divorce and he was in Kentucky to be closer to his children. ​We began dating in January of 2008 and moved in together in May of that year. In September he asked me to marry him and I said "yes". We decided a new beginning for a New Year and scheduled the wedding for January 1st. We were married January 1, 2009 in Aberdeen, Kentucky, at a friends home,with his son, Terry, as a ring bearer and my boys, Alex and Brandon, giving me away. His daughter, Brooklyn, was a bridesmaid, and my girls, Erin and Maddy, were our flower girls. Kyle was only a year old and Mary was not able to be there with us, unfortunately. It was a beautiful occasion.

After the wedding we moved to South Bend, Indiana, where his mum lives, and were there for almost 3 years. I became pregnant with Alanna in June of 2009 (she was born February 2010). We moved to Florida for about 6 months in December of 2011 and I became pregnant with Lil Brad in January of 2012. We moved back to Indiana (Liberty) in  May of 2012 and Lil Brad was born in August. We still live in Liberty, Indiana.
